Gomersal suffered their first defeat of the season with a below par performance away at Headingley.
All credit must go to Headingley though who from the first whistle got on the front foot and took their chances to get into an early lead. Gomersal could not get going at all, too many players having an off day ultimately cost us.
The second half was a better showing from Gomersal who managed to create a couple of chances, however we were not able to convert. Massive game next wednesday against league leaders Silsden. One in which performances must be raised.
