How to Register and Pay


To register your child as a player for Gomersal & Cleckheaton FC we need to obtain certain information about you as a parent/guardian and then the player. To do this, we need you to complete the online registration; it should take no more than 10 minutes. (note documents will be requested so that we can register your child to play in the league)

The registration process varies depending on whether this is the first time you have registered with GCFC or if you have registered with us before.

  1. Step 1 - Registering a New Account
  2. Step 2 - Downloading the Club App.
  3. Step 3 - Completing the Registration
  4. Step 4 - Paying the Registration Fee
  5. Step 5 - Providing a current photo of the player.
  6. Step 6 - Providing proof of the player's Date of Birth

Parents should register with their details, and then apply for the Parent role of their child(ren) in the 'Apply for roles' section below.

Players over 18 should register with their details and apply for the Player role.

Step 1 - Registering a New Account (move to the next step if you already have an account)

  • Click 'Join' in the top right corner of the page
  • Enter your details
  • Click 'Join this club'
  • Agree to the Terms of Service:
  • - Gomersal & Cleckheaton FC Consent - there is a link to our policies around Safeguarding, GDPR etc so it is key that you understand and agree to them. - Pitchero Product Updates (optional) - Pitchero Partners (optional)
  • Complete the reCAPTCHA form
  • Click 'Next'
  • Tick the roles you wish to apply for
  • Click 'Next step'

If you registered for the Parent role, you will now be asked to 'Add your children to apply for the Parent Role'.

  • Start to type your child's name.
  • If they are already on the system, their name will appear, select it and then 'Next Step'
  • If their name doesn't appear, select ‘Click here if your child is not on the list’ and then enter their name and the Team they will be playing for and then 'Next Step'
  • If you have a second child, enter and select their name, or add their details if they aren’t on the list.

Once this is done, a request will be sent to the Team you have requested to join for approval.

Step 2 - Download the App (move to the next step if you already have the App)

You will now be prompted to download the Pitchero Club App from Google Play or the App Store.

Once downloaded, you will see that you will have a notification that your request has been received. You will also receive a further notification when your request has been accepted by the Age Group Manager

Step 3 - Complete the Registration

Once your Age Group Manager has approved your request to join, or if you are renewing a registration, we need you to complete some final details.

  • Go to the Membership area of your account
  • On the Account created page, click 'My account'
  • Click 'Membership Info'
  • Click 'Update Info'
  • View and update your membership - please complete all sections for you
  • Click 'Save changes'
  • If you are a Parent, you now select your child's name and complete all sections for them as well

You and your child are now registered!

Step 4 - Pay the registration fee

This step explains how you pay the appropriate registration fee.

  1. Select 'Your account' and then at the top of the page, select 'Payments'
  2. Now select 'View Products'
  3. Under 'MEMBERSHIP' select 'Player Registration Fees'
  4. There are multiple payment options available to you. Please select the payment option right for you and then click 'BUY'
  5. Select the person for who the registration fee is for, and then select 'Next'
  6. Select 'Pay' to use the details on record or 'Change' if you would like to use other details.

Step 5 - Provide your coach with a Player photo

When registering players with the FA, we need a recent photo of the player. Please provide this to your Age Group Manager

Step 6 - Provide proof of Date of Birth (you only need to do this if it is the first time the player has registered with GCFC)

Please provide this to your Age Group Manager


And that's it, you have registered and paid the registration fee. If you have any problems, please speak to your Age Group Manager
